Barça Ready for Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday
Barça revealed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Basque side in La Liga over two years after they moved out so building work could begin.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside based on approved permits. Once fully finished, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities.
Stadium Testing
Barça organized a public practice at the Camp Nou earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht on 9 December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
